Great Books Are for Losers | Alex Petkas

Note: I am sick and so will likely have a light posting schedule for the next few days.

Alex Petkas has a PhD in classics from Princeton and is the host of the Cost of Glory podcast. He wrote a provocative essay for the American Mind arguing against the “Great Books” model of education in favor of what he sees as the traditional model of classical education. He joined me on the podcast to talk about his thesis - and the enduring importance of Plutarch’s Parallel Lives.
