My podcast guest this week is Dr. Mark David Hall, director of the Religious Liberty in the States project at First Liberty’s Center for Religion, Culture, and Democracy.
They publish a very interesting annual ranking of state religious liberty. Some blue states like Illinois score very high whereas some red states like West Virginia are very low. We’ll talk about why that is, as well as some of the reasons why religious liberty laws at the state level are so important despite our robust First Amendment.
